Tour de Sewing Room

I suppose the best place to begin this blog is where I begin all of my other projects: The Sewing Room. It's decorated with fantasy touches throughout (because I NEED my atmosphere when I sew... and I'm a major nerd). So, as a means of introducing myself... here's a quick tour:

The sewing machine/serger table (lots of supplies stuffed in the shelves):
My lovely antique threadspool-holder, handily placed just to the left of the desk... hence the cords. At the center is a faux-vintage sewing box.

The fabric cupboard (or as much as I could fit of it in the photo). I <3 faux fur, and dream of the day they invent a machine washable variety.

The jewelry boxes, the wardrobe (complete with LotR cardboard stand-up peeking out from inside, lol), and  a harlequin doll display (I have some odd collections...):
My table of strange objects and "potion" bottles (atmosphere, atmosphere, atmosphere):
And last, but DEFINITELY not least... the DVDs that keep me entertained while I work (If you're curious, that pile includes Magic Knight Rayearth, the old 80s Dungeons and Dragons cartoon series, a couple of Miyazaki films, and some random movies. XD):

So there you are: my little sanctuary. Future posts will be fashion/DIY oriented, and I'll hopefully be able to churn them out more quickly once I get going. Thanks for checking out my blog!
